Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot (Web, Data, Security, Actuator).
  • •Model and integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL), write efficient queries, and manage schema migrations.
  • •Implement API security using OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, role-based access, rate limiting, and input validation.
  • •Write clean, testable code with unit, integration, and contract tests; optimize performance and reliability (caching, connection pooling, async/non-blocking I/O, pagination).
  • •Improve observability with structured logging (SLF4J/Logback), metrics/tracing (Micrometer, OpenTelemetry), health checks, and support CI/CD/cloud deployments (Docker, Kubernetes basics; Azure exposure).

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of Java 8+ (preferably 11/17 or later) and Spring Boot.
  • •Experience using GitHub Copilot.
  • •Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with external/internal services.
  • •Hands-on with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORMs (JPA/Hibernate).
  • •Proficiency with API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger) and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
