Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Canvas Product and Engineering leaders to set end-to-end platform strategy for Admins and Educators.
  • •Oversee a team of designers focused on the Canvas product space.
  • •Provide feedback and direction on UX solutions, visual design, and UI to ensure high-quality work.
  • •Implement operational structures and best practices across Product Design, supporting an AI-first design workflow.
  • •Communicate and evangelize product vision, roadmap, and priorities; strengthen Budapest design culture through coaching and guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 10+ years designing for digital products with fluency in both UX/interaction design and UI/visual design.
  • •At least three years of managerial experience mentoring and coaching designers’ professional growth.
  • •Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering to define product roadmap and strategy.
  • •A portfolio representing your and/or your team’s best UX and visual design work on complex digital products.
  • •Strong experience following AI-first design and development workflows, including leveraging AI tools (Claude Cowork).
