Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare VAT, customs & excise duty, environmental taxes, and connected supplementary returns using global standard process and controls, leveraging automation tools where applicable.
  • •Work with Tax Seniors to ensure compliance with market-specific regulatory requirements and legislative changes.
  • •Support routine tax audit enquiries and projects for assigned markets under the supervision of the Tax Lead (team leader).
  • •Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on time and in line with internal and external control requirements.
  • •Embed and operate new controls and KPI reports, investigate root causes of errors, and support tax calendar supervision and market query responses.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified graduate economist with at least 1 year post-qualification finance experience (internship counts).
  • •Experience at an operational level in tax, controls, and risk management is an advantage.
  • •Experience working with SAP is an advantage.
  • •Strong analytical and questioning skills.
  • •Good numerical skills with confident Excel usage, able to work to tight deadlines.
