Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop process engineering calculations including sizing of unit operations and design constraints.
  • •Produce process flow diagrams and mass balance calculations, and apply basic PID principles.
  • •Undertake survey and assessments of existing process/equipment (asset surveys) and perform site visits if required.
  • •Support feasibility and optioneering studies for wastewater treatment processes.
  • •Act as technical secretary or scribe in HAZOP meetings and contribute to safe, compliant technical documentation and drawing deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Ambition to work towards Chartered Engineer status with IChemE or CIWEM.
  • •Degree educated (MEng or MSc) or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.
  • •Excellent report writing, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • •Analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail and creative thinking.
  • •Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams; knowledge of AutoCad and 3D design models like Revit is advantageous.
