Key Responsibilities

  • •Design mechanical components for wastewater treatment systems, including solids handling and related equipment.
  • •Develop wastewater treatment plant designs (sludge treatment and odor control) and water/wastewater networks.
  • •Perform water/wastewater mechanical equipment sizing and selection (screens, mixers, conveyors, thickeners, centrifuges, chemical dosing).
  • •Prepare hydraulic calculations and support pump/fan, valve (including penstocks), and pipe sizing/material selection.
  • •Create concept/detail designs and tender/construction documentation; supervise 3D/2D drawings and mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • •Professional registration or licensure in your home office country, or active pursuit of it.
  • •5 to 10 years of experience in the wastewater/water industry.
  • •Experience designing mechanical components for wastewater treatment systems (e.g., ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, digesters, solids handling).
