Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide front-line SRE/production support for equity trading systems and Fidessa flows, supporting incident response and weekend/on-call rotations.
  • •Investigate and resolve complex application, infrastructure, connectivity, and trading workflow issues through root-cause analysis and post-mortems.
  • •Build and enhance monitoring and observability across applications, infrastructure, databases, messaging, and trading flows for performance tuning and fault isolation.
  • •Develop automation, scripts, operational tooling, and CI/CD capabilities to reduce manual effort and streamline deployments and production checkouts.
  • •Partner with business, development, QA, infrastructure, and global support teams to improve production readiness, documentation, operational standards, and platform stability.

Key Requirements

  • •Provide front-line production support for equity trading systems and Fidessa flows, including order routing, FIX connectivity, and client onboarding.
  • •Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills across Linux/Unix, Windows Server, networking, databases, messaging, and application layers.
  • •Understand the trade lifecycle and FIX Protocol, including FIX 4.2, 4.4 and 5.0 message analysis, session behavior, and client onboarding flows.
  • •Use scripting/automation for operational tooling and CI/CD support, with experience in Python, Bash/Shell, SQL, PowerShell, or Perl.
  • •Have monitoring and observability experience using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or ELK Stack.
