Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • •Review and collaborate with design services and the general contractor to develop cost estimates and reconcile changes using accurate data.
  • •Coordinate cost information across subcontractors, suppliers, quantities, and design inputs; prepare executive summaries and written comments on submissions.
  • •Manage post-contract cost variances, change control processes, cost impact assessments, contingency management, and commitment tracking.
  • •Produce monthly cost reports, support value engineering sessions, negotiate and finalize project accounts, and track financial performance (margins and forecasts).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Cost Management, or a related construction discipline.
  • •4+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, commercial management, and construction project delivery.
  • •MRICS in progress.
  • •Experience leading cost management activities on medium to large-scale construction and infrastructure projects valued up to £27M.
  • •Strong background in cost planning, estimating, forecasting, valuations, procurement/subcontract management, change control, and final accounts.
