Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, refine, and update comprehensive supply-and-demand balances and price forecasts across renewable diesel, biodiesel, ethanol, SAF, and agricultural feedstocks.
  • •Connect agricultural and energy intelligence by linking agriculture desks with oil and middle distillates desks to capture the full biofuels value chain.
  • •Track and evaluate policy and regulatory drivers, including RFS/RINs, LCFS, clean fuel producer credits, crush economics, and trade dynamics.
  • •Produce timely written research, commentary, and house views for client presentations, webinars, conferences, and media.
  • •Partner with data engineering and product teams to scope, prioritize, and validate scrapers and automated data pipelines for the S&D product.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in commodity market research and analytics, analyzing US biofuel and feedstock fundamentals.
  • •Strong knowledge of the US biofuels policy stack (RFS/RIN, LCFS, clean fuel producer credits) and feedstock dynamics (e.g., UCO, tallow, soybean complex).
  • •Proven track record building, maintaining, and refining quantitative supply-and-demand balances and price forecasting models.
  • •Advanced ability to analyze and manage market data using Excel to derive insights and detect market trends.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Energy, Agricultural Science, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
