•Design, build, and maintain OS images for cloud compute and bare metal, supporting Windows, Linux, and BSD distributions.
•Migrate legacy boot configuration scripts to cloud-init for consistent OS provisioning.
•Expand the OS catalog by adding new community-requested distributions.
•Manage marketplace application lifecycle from onboarding to updating and maintenance.
•Build and maintain automation tooling and CI/CD pipelines for image creation, testing, and deployment; debug and resolve image-related issues with root-cause fixes.

Key Requirements

•3+ years in systems engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps focused on OS imaging and automation.
•Deep familiarity with Linux distribution internals and automated installations across Debian, RHEL/Fedora/CentOS/AlmaLinux/Rocky, Ubuntu, and Arch-based systems.
•Experience with BSD operating systems (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD) and their installation frameworks.
•Hands-on experience with cloud-init provisioning and scripting (BASH, Python 3, and familiarity with PHP).
•Strong experience with Ansible playbooks and image building tools (Packer, Kiwi, or LiveBuild), plus CI/CD and version control (Git).
