Job Summary

Senior systems integrator responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning PLC/SCADA systems for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. Will lead live-plant deployments, perform on-site and remote troubleshooting, develop control narratives and documentation, and design industrial OT networks with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within WSP’s automation practice.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design, development, and delivery of PLC and SCADA systems for municipal and industrial infrastructure projects.
•Independently program, test, and commission control systems in live plant environments.
•Execute on-site and remote troubleshooting, including scheduled and unscheduled service support.
•Develop control narratives, technical specifications, and system documentation that support safe and reliable operations.
•Configure and deploy SCADA/HMI platforms, including graphics, communications, and databases.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on PLC programming experience with Rockwell Automation platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix); experience with Emerson RX3i, Schneider Modicon (M340/M580), or GE Fanuc is an asset.
