Key Responsibilities

  • •Create sourcing strategies for assigned categories to reduce risk, meet purchasing targets, and deliver cost savings.
  • •Develop stakeholder relationships and implement strategic sourcing models to optimize value and maintain cost reduction programs.
  • •Manage contracts end-to-end to ensure supplier performance and compliance with contract obligations and terms.
  • •Conduct cost reduction and optimization efforts, including benchmarking and market analysis, and drive year-over-year savings by reducing usage and waste.
  • •Define supplier SLAs and KPIs, establish preferred suppliers, manage supply base performance programs, and resolve blocked invoices/purchase order issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree and 4+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 6+ years, or 10+ years in areas such as engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations, or supply chain management.
  • •Experience in material cost control and master production scheduling.
  • •Ability to conduct advanced quantitative and business process analyses to identify financial impacts and cost improvement outcomes.
  • •Strong understanding of procurement and supplier performance measurement, including delivery, cost reduction, quality, and timeliness.
  • •Ability to read drawings/blueprints and understand manufacturing complexity, particularly for production components.
