Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and maintain a safe and secure environment within the facility.
  • •Receive prisoners, conduct searches, support daily routines, and perform escort duties inside and outside the facility.
  • •Supervise and support prisoners in rehabilitation and reintegration programmes.
  • •Submit accurate incident reports and maintain administrative records.
  • •Supervise prisoner activities and work programs while participating in team meetings to improve cohesion.

Key Requirements

  • •Full Class 1 Driver Licence.
  • •Working rights: must be a New Zealand or Australian citizen, permanent resident, resident, or hold a full visa with at least 3 years.
  • •Ability to work across a 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • •Experience or willingness to undertake NZQA Offender Management Level 3 training.
  • •Excellent command of English for accurate incident report writing.
