Job Summary

Drive technical pre-sales engagements by partnering with Account Executive(s) to develop customer engagement strategies and guide complex sales lifecycles. Serve as a trusted advisor and expert solutions architect for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Coach junior Solutions Architects, lead workshops and customer-facing collateral, and build technical champions across stakeholders in a cloud and third-party ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executive(s) in your designated territory.
•Operate as an expert solutions architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
•Influence stakeholders through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
•Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
•Support technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

Key Requirements

•Know how to engage in complex customer interactions and the sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
•Influence decision-makers and C-level executives through relationship-building and orchestration to drive long-term customer success.
•Have prior coding experience in a core programming language (Python, Java, or Scala) and be willing to learn Spark fundamentals.
•Bring hands-on expertise developing complex proofs-of-concept and working with public cloud platform(s).
•Provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
