Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve EMEA Major Incident, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity frameworks aligned to regulatory requirements and operational resilience objectives.
  • •Provide executive leadership during major incidents and crises by chairing Silver/Gold command structures, acting as escalation point, and coordinating internal and external resolver teams for effective resolution.
  • •Lead crisis escalation, regulatory incident classification, materiality assessments, and reporting obligations under frameworks including DORA, FCA, PRA, and ECB.
  • •Run 24/7 on-call support for incident and crisis management, including out-of-hours disaster recovery testing and major technology changes.
  • •Conduct post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, crisis simulations, and resilience testing; establish and monitor resilience KPIs and reporting to executive committees, risk committees, and board/governance forums.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in Major Incident Management, Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, or a related discipline in complex, global, highly regulated environments.
  • •Proven ability to manage high-profile incidents across cyber threats, technology outages, operational disruption, geopolitical events, and reputational risk.
  • •Demonstrated capability advising C-suite and senior leadership during crisis situations, including establishing and leading incident command structures and crisis management teams.
  • •Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical, operational, and executive audiences, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and delegate effectively.
  • •Strong commitment to continuous improvement and resilience maturity, including CBCI (Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute) and ITIL Foundation certification.
