Provide second-line, managed virtualization and storage/cloud support by proactively monitoring queues, resolving incidents and requests within SLA, and updating tickets with accurate resolution details. Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and escalate when needed. Execute safe changes and approved maintenance, support disaster recovery testing, and collaborate with other teams and automation to reduce recurring tickets and improve knowledge articles.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively monitor work queues and resolve incidents/requests within agreed SLA.
•Update tickets with resolution tasks performed and capture all relevant information for immediate resolution.
•Provide second-line support by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and preventing future impacts.
•Execute safe changes with risk/mitigation in change records; ensure proper approvals and plan approved maintenance.
•Escalate tickets to the right teams, work with automation/trend analysis to reduce tickets, and support disaster recovery functions/tests as required.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing or equivalent work experience.
•Relevant virtualization/storage/cloud service certifications (e.g., HPE, VMware, Microsoft, AWS).
•Moderate managed-services experience handling cross-technology infrastructure.
•Moderate knowledge of ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow or JIRA.
•Moderate working knowledge of ITIL processes, plus experience working with vendors/3rd parties.
