Key Responsibilities

  • •Define performance testing strategy, approach, and success criteria aligned to Open Banking non-functional requirements.
  • •Design and maintain automated performance test suites (load, stress, endurance/soak, spike) integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • •Create realistic workload models using production-like usage patterns, including API-level test scenarios and performance-testing data design.
  • •Analyze performance results to identify bottlenecks and recommend remediation to development and platform teams.
  • •Collaborate with SRE/DevOps to set up performance environments and monitoring/alerts, and provide release performance sign-off evidence.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor Degree of Engineering with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Strong hands-on experience in performance testing and performance engineering for APIs and distributed systems.
  • •Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and/or Gatling, including scripting, parameterisation, correlation, and result analysis.
  • •Experience implementing performance testing in CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins) and using collaboration/version control tools like Jira, GitHub, and Confluence.
  • •Good understanding of AWS and cloud-native architectures and the ability to translate non-functional requirements into measurable test outcomes.
