Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and determine the root cause of electrical failures, and recommend corrective actions to fix the issues found.
  • •Set up and run electrical tests to verify failures and follow the failure analysis flow to reach root cause efficiently.
  • •Use global isolation tools such as OBIRCH and EMMI and probe internal nets on integrated circuits.
  • •Perform electrical characterization of semiconductor devices, including MOS and bipolar components.
  • •Communicate results via final reports and defend recommendations to designers, process experts, and management.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
  • •5+ years of experience in Analog IC Design or Failure Analysis.
  • •Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits and their operation and analysis, plus process technologies.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience with lab equipment for device debug or failure analysis (e.g., curve tracers, return loss analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
  • •Programming skills for automation of bench characterization equipment (e.g., VBA, Python, GPIB).
