Job Summary

Serve as an HR Employee Partner at the East Hartford, CT facility, supporting 1,900+ employees across union production maintenance and nonunion salaried groups. Partner with leadership to implement HR programs tied to business goals, execute core HR processes (performance, staffing, retention, employee relations, development), administer collective bargaining agreements, manage grievances/investigations, and support recruiting, retention, succession planning, and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs supporting business goals.
•Execute HR processes including performance management, salary planning, staffing and retention, employee relations, and development.
•Administer the collective bargaining agreement for the assigned employee population and support collective bargaining.
•Establish relationships with union representatives; conduct investigations and process grievances.
•Coach managers and employees; support succession planning, recruiting/retention strategy, and special projects; apply lean/process improvement as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology (or related) with 8+ years of relevant experience; OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
•Experience executing HR processes including performance management, salary planning, staffing/retention, employee relations, and development.
•Experience with administration of a collective bargaining agreement and its grievance procedure.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent business judgment.
•Ability to influence without direct supervisory responsibilities and handle confidential information with integrity.
