Job Summary

Lead the Simulation-Specific Components (SSC) group within the Eurodrone Virtual Engineering effort, coordinating simulation models and software components to support development, integration, and verification. Drive pre-integration of simulation frameworks and services, design simulation software architectures, and implement high-fidelity models primarily in C++. Ensure rigorous unit, integration, and system testing, create automation/build-pipeline tooling, and serve as a key technical point of contact in the Joint Model Office.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the Simulation-Specific Components (SSC) group by developing simulation models and components based on system requirements and development plans.
•Coordinate development and pre-integration of simulation frameworks, test support systems, and dedicated services.
•Perform pre-integration of in-house and third-party components for handover to JMO Simulation Integration and Deployment teams.
•Design software architectures for new simulation tools and models, and implement high-fidelity simulation components primarily in C++.
•Ensure high-fidelity standards through unit, integration, and system testing; create automation tools for build pipelines and code generation, and support collaboration with architects and integration teams.

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
•Extensive experience in software development within complex, large-scale systems.
•Deep expertise in software design using procedural and object-oriented programming.
•Proven experience with unit, integration, and system testing.
•Strong background in distributed systems and simulation frameworks, with expert knowledge of C/C++.
