Job Summary

Build and evolve Lagrange, ByteDance’s central console platform powering AI-related engineering workflows across the organization. Key Responsibilities

•Build and evolve Lagrange, the central console platform for AI-related engineering workflows.
•Analyze user needs and develop software solutions applying computer science and engineering principles.
•Work on deep technical problems with long-term impact across platform architecture, scalability, and engineering productivity.
•Improve operational intelligence and integrate AI into engineering and operations workflows.
•Create infrastructure and platform capabilities that make large-scale AI development more efficient and reliable.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
•Proficient in at least one of Python, Golang, or C++ with solid coding skills and practices.
•Proficient with storage and middleware such as MySQL, Redis, and MQ, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
•Familiar with Python frameworks/libraries (Flask, Celery, Django, Tornado, NumPy) or Go frameworks (Beego, Gin, Gorm, Sarama, gRPC-Go).
•Experience with time-series/data components (OpenTSDB, Prometheus, InfluxDB) and OLAP databases such as ClickHouse.
