Maintain and repair pump, power, and HVAC equipment at a rental facility, using technology to create and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and diagnose issues with real-time data. Troubleshoot failures both in the shop and at customer job sites, perform preventive maintenance when travel is required, and maintain accurate daily documentation. Assist with equipment setup/operation and support training for lower-level technicians.

Key Responsibilities

•Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
•Diagnose root causes of equipment issues and determine corrective actions, both at the shop and at customer locations.
•Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
•Set up and operate equipment individually or with other technicians at the shop and on customer sites.
•Maintain complete, timely paperwork/electronic work-order documentation and assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

•Own applicable tools for the role and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
•Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
•Calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
•Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
•EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6–12 months if not already held).
