Key Responsibilities

  • •Support daily operations and maintenance activities under the direction of the Lead Technician.
  • •Assist with cable runs, equipment installations, and site preparation activities.
  • •Perform facility maintenance, housekeeping, and cleanup to keep the work environment safe and organized.
  • •Manage warehouse inventory and coordinate shipping and receiving for tools, equipment, and network materials.
  • •Provide support for service tickets and routine operational tasks, including preventive maintenance on generators, battery systems, and HVAC equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED or up to 2 years of relevant job experience, including 1+ years in network monitoring, installation, or maintenance/repair.
  • •Entry-level technician knowledge of at least one discipline: Transmission (DS1/DS3/SONET), Switching (circuit-switching/SS7), TCP/IP, or Outside Plant (fiber locating, OTDR, mass fusion splicing).
  • •PC skills with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, plus the ability to quickly learn corporate databases.
  • •24x7 on-call rotation with dispatch/call-out and overtime as required.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in all weather conditions.
