Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake structural design and analysis of maritime and coastal structures using relevant design codes.
  • •Develop concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for new build and refurbishment maritime structures.
  • •Perform stability, bearing capacity, and durability assessments under wave, current, and corrosion effects.
  • •Design and specify fendering systems, mooring arrangements, and scour protection measures.
  • •Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, and tender documentation; support site inspections and construction queries.

Key Requirements

  • •MEng or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Strong civil/structural design background, ideally with marine or coastal infrastructure experience.
  • •Understanding of structural behaviour, materials (concrete, steel, sheet piles), and marine loading conditions.
  • •Familiarity with British Standards, Eurocodes, and maritime guidance documents.
  • •Eligible and able to obtain Security Clearance (SC level).
