Job Summary

Develop and optimize deep learning AI frameworks for AMD GPUs, providing technical leadership across the AMD ecosystem. Work with internal GPU library teams and open-source maintainers to integrate performance improvements and compiler-driven optimizations. Create and tune GPU kernels, design and optimize models using quantization, and collaborate on training and inference performance. Apply engineering best practices to deliver robust, maintainable solutions for next-generation AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

•Optimize deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, vLLM, and SGLang for AMD GPUs in open-source repositories.
•Develop and optimize GPU kernels to maximize performance for AI operations.
•Design and optimize deep learning models, including quantization for AMD GPU performance.
•Collaborate with internal GPU library teams to analyze and improve training and inference performance on AMD GPUs.
•Engage with open-source maintainers to align code changes with requirements and integrate upstream.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CNY 227,500 - 325,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience designing and optimizing GPU kernels for deep learning on AMD GPUs using HIP, CUDA, and assembly, with knowledge of AMD architectures (GCN, RDNA) and low-level programming.
•Experience with AI software frameworks such as PyTorch, vLLM, and SGLang, including benchmarking and profiling.
•Experience using profiling and benchmark tooling for large models.
•Experience with model optimization such as low-precision quantization (MXFP4, FP8, INT4) and sparsity.
•Proficiency in C++ and experience developing/debugging in Python.
