Key Responsibilities

  • •Own storage and query systems, including how they behave under load and their operating cost.
  • •Plan and sequence delivery across a roadmap mixing customer features with storage and query infrastructure.
  • •Set technical direction with staff engineers, making tradeoff decisions and keeping focus on engineering outcomes.
  • •Own operational health: oncall rotation, incident readiness, and ensuring availability, query performance, and correctness.
