Job Summary

Operate and maintain plant equipment safely and efficiently, including heavy off-road trucks such as water trucks, quarry trucks, and stock trucks. Diagnose mechanical issues, dismantle and reassemble components, perform repairs and replacements, and test equipment after service to ensure proper performance. Conduct routine maintenance like oil and filter changes and lubrications, while adhering to Environmental, Health & Safety procedures at the aggregate production facility.

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose, adjust, and repair plant equipment safely and efficiently.
•Operate and inspect heavy equipment and machines to identify defects and repair/replace worn or damaged parts.
•Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
•Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and materials using trucks and related equipment (e.g., crawlers, power cranes, shovels, graders), including stone crushers and conveyors.
•Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, changing filters, taking oil samples, and lubricating equipment and machinery.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Mechanically inclined; previous mining experience preferred but training will be provided.
•Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.

•Maintain a current driver’s license and work extended hours as needed (nights/weekends).
