Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and prototype drone controllers, antenna systems, and launcher enclosures, including structural architecture, ergonomics, and thermal/waterproofing constraints.
  • •Own full product development cycles end-to-end, translating operator needs into rugged, field-ready designs.
  • •Create 3D models and detailed 2D drawings with GD&T in SolidWorks to meet functional and assembly requirements.
  • •Apply DFM/DFA to reduce unit cost and assembly time at scale while coordinating with manufacturing suppliers.
  • •Run FEA and thermal simulations (CFD/steady-state) and perform mechanical stress, failure analysis, and environmental testing to validate designs.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Complete at least one full product development cycle from concept to mass production.
  • •Demonstrated plastic injection molding experience including DFM and quality control, plus familiarity with CNC and die-casting.
  • •Advanced SolidWorks proficiency, including complex surface modeling and 2D drawings with GD&T.
  • •Hands-on rapid prototyping experience (e.g., 3D printing, CNC) and experience integrating embedded electronics into complex enclosures.
