Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft electrical design outputs in Bentley MicroStation, including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, instrumentation and controls diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, and fire alarm/communication drawings.
  • •Prepare data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reports.
  • •Work in concert with electrical engineers and other CAD drafters within the same design work group.
  • •Support construction and operational activities related to the design outputs.
  • •Perform field walkdowns sometimes in radiologically contaminated areas.

Key Requirements

  • •US citizenship and at least 18 years of age, with ability to meet pre-employment requirements including physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation for Department of Energy clearance requirements.
  • •Associates or higher in a technical field with 6–10 years of related experience, or high school diploma with 13–19 years of relevant experience.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy clearance (DOE Q) as required.
  • •Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems.
  • •Experience with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A.
