Key Responsibilities

  • •Make Turner & Townsend number one in the transmission market by increasing market share and influence.
  • •Position Turner & Townsend as a go-to organisation for programme, asset, portfolio and project services and advice.
  • •Create a consistent and profitable business stream by identifying opportunities and developing propositions to meet market needs.
  • •Structure, engage and lead the Transmission team in the UK and Europe, setting ambitious targets across Europe.
  • •Secure business development opportunities with existing and new clients (including cross-selling) and assure delivery of services for clients.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Experience and credibility in Transmission development and delivery, with knowledge of and relationships with national and international operators and their investment portfolios.
  • •Track record in senior roles on complex transmission projects, including Programme Director, Asset Director, Portfolio Director, or Head of Sector roles.
  • •Strong technical understanding of programme, asset, portfolio, project services to be delivered to clients.
  • •Ability to act as an inspirational leader and strategist, developing and building a highly capable team.
  • •Degree qualified in construction and/or engineering; expect and be able to travel throughout the UK and Europe.
