Identify and request parts quickly and support a safe work environment while collaborating with maintenance and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain all mill machinery including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
•Keep systems running smoothly by performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance.
•Inspect machinery to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
•Troubleshoot issues to boost equipment reliability and implement safe, reliable fixes that maximize uptime.
•Identify and request relevant parts for timely repairs and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Requirements

•Superior troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
•Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance by inspecting equipment and investigating irregularities and malfunctions.
•Basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair machinery components.
•Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on heavy manufacturing machinery.
•Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule and document maintenance activities.
