Job Summary

Join the retail financial center team as a Personal Banker I. After a 9-week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, you’ll use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and proactively reach customers with CAMP and marketing tools. You’ll cross-sell, support appointments for periodic reviews, process teller transactions, and partner with teams like Mortgage and Small Business to deliver holistic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Recommend retail consumer and small business products/services using the value proposition and maintain in-depth product knowledge.
•Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and other approved marketing tools and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and support outside sales activities such as onsite presentations and business sales calls.
•Process teller transactions and help ensure risk accountability, confidentiality, and a positive customer experience while meeting customer and production goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or relevant work experience that provides transferable skills.
•Comfort working with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated ability to understand advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to professionally represent the bank through appearance and verbal/written communication.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
