Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle and set eggs in incubators according to established procedures.
  • •Monitor incubation conditions (temperature, humidity, ventilation) to support optimal hatching.
  • •Assist with chick hatching and transfer while ensuring proper care and handling.
  • •Perform quality checks on eggs and chicks to maintain health and biosecurity standards.
  • •Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas; follow biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety/sanitation protocols, and record hatch data for reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • •Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
  • •Ability to multitask and work quickly; communicate well in writing and orally.
  • •Ability to follow simple instructions and apply common sense; team player.
  • •Physical ability to work in high-temperature environments and perform repetitive lifting/pushing; must be able to push/pull 450 lb. buggies.
