Job Summary

Design and develop wireless communication systems across planning, design, implementation, prototyping, verification, and validation. Work on algorithmic development, simulation, benchmarking, and RF/digital communication performance testing, including MIMO/OFDM and channel estimation. Support FPGA and software development teams with fixed-point design and testing, and lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts as needed. Based in West Los Angeles on a hybrid schedule with limited travel for field and customer interactions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years designing and developing wireless communication systems, or a Master’s degree in a related field.
•Experience with wireless communication protocols and modem architecture, including PHY, MAC, and higher-layer interactions.
•Working knowledge of RF propagation, channel modeling, and wireless channel characteristics.
•Strong understanding of digital communication and signal processing techniques including MIMO, OFDM, synchronization, channel estimation, equalization, and related algorithms.
•Proficiency in MATLAB for algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
