Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, roll out, and embed an enterprise-wide AI governance framework, policies, and standards to drive consistency as AI adoption scales.
  • •Design and operationalize AI risk and impact assessments across the AI lifecycle, with focus on generative and agentic AI use cases.
  • •Translate AI laws and frameworks across Adyen’s global footprint into practical policies, playbooks, and procedures for first-line teams.
  • •Define governance parameters for AI inventories, including cataloguing and risk-classifying AI tools and use cases.
  • •Develop enterprise guidance for evaluating AI systems (performance, fairness, explainability) and coordinate with DPO Office to address privacy considerations across the AI lifecycle.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 210,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years building, deploying, and managing global AI or privacy governance programs in regulated, multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • •Qualified lawyer or governance professional with substantial experience in AI governance, privacy, or technology risk.
  • •Solid working knowledge of EU AI Act and NIST AI Risk Management Framework, plus global privacy regulations (GDPR and CCPA/CPRA).
  • •Familiarity with generative and agentic AI (LLMs, autonomy levels, human-in-the-loop, and tool/action permissioning) and model evaluation techniques (fairness, bias, drift, explainability, red teaming).
  • •Ability to translate complex, evolving AI regulations into practical guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
