Job Summary

Initiate and execute pre-clinical R&D in the Molecular Biology Research team to advance transplant assessment technologies across transplant assessment, oncology, and NIPT. Lead in-lab efforts to develop novel nucleic-acid based diagnostic tests, design and run complex experiments, and analyze results with partner statistics and bioinformatics teams. Document work under a Quality Management System and collaborate with on-site CLIA lab and other internal groups.

Key Requirements

•Degree in molecular biology, tissue/cellular biology, immunology, or a closely related field.
•Associate Scientist level: Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 6 years of industry experience.
•Scientist level: M.S. with at least 6 years of industry experience or Ph.D. with 3–5 years of industry experience.
•Experience with next generation sequencing (NGS) and DNA/RNA molecular biology.
•Experience with nucleic acid technologies including PCR, qPCR, multiplex PCR, digital PCR, NGS, and microarrays.
