Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain ILS/IPS deliverables to ensure the ship enters service with an integrated, cost-effective, sustainable support solution.
  • •Apply proven analysis techniques to determine support requirements and develop maintenance and procedures.
  • •Develop and produce ILS/IPS outputs consistent with contractual requirements to meet time and budget targets.
  • •Work with prerequisite inputs from other disciplines to enable maintenance outputs to be achieved and presented.
  • •Validate other engineers’ work through peer review and communicate with customer representatives, classification authorities, suppliers, and internal functions to resolve technical issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 43,000

Key Requirements

  • •Good knowledge of engineering principles and understanding of the ILS/IPS suite of disciplines.
  • •Experience with either Electrical or Mechanical systems.
  • •Ability to read and analyse schematic diagrams and technical documentation, and provide solutions to technical problems in a digital environment.
  • •Hold an HNC/HND (or equivalent) with relevant experience.
  • •Applicants must, as a minimum, achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
