Job Summary

Provide roadside assistance by diagnosing vehicle faults and performing safe repairs at the scene, or arranging recovery and onward dealer workshop attention. Based from home and operating a fully equipped van, you’ll manage each job end-to-end—communicating with customers, maintaining tools and records, and meeting service, safety, and quality standards while using digital tools and analytics responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

•Attend roadside assistance calls, assess the situation, diagnose faults with modern diagnostic tools, and repair at scene where safe and possible.
•Make safety-led decisions on repair versus recovery, arranging professional recovery and dealer workshop attention when required.
•Own each job end-to-end by communicating with customers, setting expectations, and providing reassurance.
•Operate and maintain a fully equipped van, manage tools and parts, follow safety procedures, and keep accurate notes in company systems.
•Meet service, safety, and quality standards while working efficiently toward targets with clear financial rewards, using AI/ML and digital tools responsibly.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician who can work independently at the scene as the main decision-maker and fixer.
•Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using modern diagnostic equipment to identify issues and choose the safest, fastest next step.
•Confident, calm customer communication, managing expectations and safety as Allianz Partners’ representative at the roadside.
•Comfortable using IT, mobile apps, and diagnostic software, including accurate digital data capture.
•Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a fully equipped van; relevant technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds Parts I & II, NVQ/B-Tech) or EV Level 3 IMI/ATA Level 3 roadside diagnostics training readiness.
