Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times for testing during installation.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller, then integrate keypad and telematics communication.
  • •Handle multiple installation scenarios, from basic power/ignition/ground to complex wiring harness work involving CAN network access.
  • •Troubleshoot issues by gathering and analyzing information, developing alternative solutions when needed; travel to client sites and rental yards.
  • •Occasionally work outside business hours and on weekends (on-call scheduling).

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools; able to install and troubleshoot wiring and electrical components.

  • •Own tools; a few specialty tools will be provided.
  • •Must be able to travel within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time and pass a background check (10-panel drug screen contingent on offer).
