Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform essential hands-on tasks to support concrete paving operations, including spreading, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete.
  • •Signal concrete deliverers and operate tools such as rakes/shovels, power screed, power trowel, power grinder, and air hammer.
  • •Complete daily safety assignments, including area inspections, pre-shifts, and job safety analyses.
  • •Measure grade stakes and stretch tight lines; signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment and movement.
  • •Assist with traffic control setup (signs, barricades, cones), load/unload materials, and clean tools and work areas.
