Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
  • •Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure and support supplier price/delivery negotiations.
  • •Form and coordinate the Materials Core Team; manage product development deliverables via matrix management.
  • •Execute commercialization/transition materials planning, including materials change control and cost/quality issue resolution.
  • •Generate and publish key process indicators, track total landed cost targets, and support identification of critical and long-lead parts.
