Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deploy stress and structural-mechanics models that support the structure and stress modeling program for semiconductor products.
  • •Create stress-strain analysis based on structural mechanics and communicate results to cross-functional team members.
  • •Use advanced modeling and simulation approaches, including level set methods, CAD/meshing workflows, DOE, and rendering/analysis.
  • •Apply and debug modeling workflows using FEA tools such as Abaqus and ANSYS, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills.
  • •Leverage AI/GenAI tools to improve modeling workflows and collaborate on next steps with the team.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of modeling experience with a Masters, or 3+ years with a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related field.
  • •Strong background in constitutive modeling in solid mechanics and experience with numerical methods and scientific computing.
  • •Advanced skills in level set method (LSM) for CAD, meshing, DOE, and analysis/rendering.
  • •Experience with FEA tools, including Abaqus and ANSYS.
  • •Familiarity with machine learning/deep learning concepts and applications, plus familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code and Copilot.
