Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and track chronic/repetitive defects using PIREPs, MIREPs, Crew Calls, and Skywise health monitoring.
  • •Cross-check aircraft technical log repetitive defects and Non-Essential Furnishings (NEF) items.
  • •Review Significant Maintenance Reports (SMR) and Class 3 faults to identify early failure trends.
  • •Ensure rectification methods align with prior repair attempts based on Fleet Airworthiness Directives (FAD) experience, including NEF defect handling and component replacement/troubleshooting via swapping/robbing.
  • •Liaise with Line Maintenance, MCC Controllers, Line Planning, and Materials/Component teams to schedule ground time, reduce NFF occurrences, and generate CASS defect reports; escalate critical defects outside the process.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance, Engineering, or a related field, OR an aviation-related diploma with a GACA License.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience as a certifying aircraft professional.
  • •At least 2 years of experience as an MCC Controller.
  • •Strong understanding of GACAR regulations and proficiency in AIRBUS WORLD and related technical manuals.
  • •Experience working with AMOS maintenance software.
