Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end logistics operations across Archer sites and suppliers, including transportation planning, scheduling, and execution for higher-complexity/time-critical moves.
  • •Lead carrier relationship management and rate/contract negotiations (LTL, FTL, parcel, and specialty transport), driving performance, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • •Serve as the primary escalation point for complex material and tooling movement issues supporting production, test, and R&D operations.
  • •Lead cross-functional logistics projects (carrier onboarding, route optimization, network redesign, facility/equipment moves) from scope through implementation.
  • •Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and internal safety requirements; lead periodic audits; and continuously update logistics playbooks, SOPs, and training materials.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics operations, or supply chain execution, including multi-site or higher-complexity logistics.
  • •Proven ability to independently manage carrier and 3PL relationships across multiple transportation modes, including rate and contract negotiation.
  • •Strong knowledge of domestic freight (LTL/FTL, parcel, flatbed, and specialty transport), including regulatory requirements.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading logistics process-improvement or network projects from concept through implementation.
  • •Experience mentoring, training, or informally leading logistics team members.
