Job Summary

Assist with transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions, supporting projects up to 765kV. Help establish project execution layout, maintain budget and schedule, and follow QA/QC procedures. Develop expertise using PLS-CADD modeling, structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, and construction specifications while coordinating with utilities and construction partners. Complete assigned training and travel to the field as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute engineering for transmission projects up to 765kV.
•Support initial project execution layout to establish an efficient project plan.
•Maintain project budget and schedule.
•Follow WSP QA/QC procedures for transmission line design work.
•Develop transmission line design expertise including PLS-CADD modeling, structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, and construction support; complete training and travel to the field as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline (Civil Engineering preferred).
•0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.

•Strong English communication skills for written and oral collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
•Familiarity with design/build concepts and relevant civil construction laws, codes, regulations, and compliance practices.
