Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support for water projects
  • •Produce plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selection including specifications, WIMES data sheets, valve schedules and P&IDs
  • •Liaise with water and other discipline teams nationwide
  • •Visit sites to carry out surveys and liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers
  • •Act as Mechanical Lead on projects and help deliver mechanical scope to programme and budget

Key Requirements

  • •A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • •Be a Chartered Engineer with a relevant institution, such as IMechE
  • •A proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications, and calculations with confidence and precision
  • •Hands-on experience in delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater engineering projects
  • •Experience leading or mentoring engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
