Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead large-scale database migration projects driven by acquisitions, client onboarding, and platform growth, ensuring minimal downtime, rollback strategies, and zero data loss.
  • •Design and execute deployment strategies for blue/green rollouts, along with data archiving and partitioning across multiple data store types.
  • •Use AI-powered automation to strengthen operational excellence, security/compliance, performance, and resiliency/capacity planning.
  • •Apply AI-assisted development tools and spec-driven workflows to design, automate, and ship database platform changes with high code quality and acceptance criteria.
  • •Partner on lakehouse enablement and participate in incident response and on-call rotation to maintain data infrastructure health.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years operating MySQL and/or PostgreSQL in large-scale production environments with deep knowledge of database internals.
  • •2+ years experience with NoSQL such as MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
  • •2+ years experience with AWS cloud services.
  • •Strong Infrastructure as Code expertise, primarily with Terraform.
  • •Preferred exposure to lakehouse/analytics infrastructure such as Databricks, Apache Iceberg, and Unity Catalog.
