Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the daily operation and administration of the Privacy Program, working with Senior Manager, Privacy Compliance and the Chief Privacy Officer
  • •Identify emerging regulatory risks and communicate key privacy regulatory developments to stakeholders; assist in implementing necessary changes to remain compliant
  • •Advise business unit stakeholders on applying federal and provincial privacy requirements for new products, initiatives, and processes (including privacy impact assessments)
  • •Provide effective review and challenge to processes and results; drive customer-focused solutions
  • •Investigate and respond to privacy requests, complaints, and inquiries; support audits/examinations of the privacy program

Salary: USD 130,000 - 148,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of experience in privacy, compliance, risk management, or a legal role within a financial institution, tele-communications, or insurance
  • •At least 5 years of experience in privacy
  • •At least 5 years of experience applying Canadian banking legislation, laws, industry standards, and regulations to the financial services sector
  • •Proven record of innovation and process improvements
  • •Bachelors’ Degree; CIPP(C) / CIPM designation (or willingness to complete within six months)
