Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform geographic and non-geographic data manipulation, data management, and analysis, and develop automated data management processes.
  • •Revise existing GIS layers and create new layers following established standards and procedures.
  • •Maintain quality control standards and ensure accurate measurement and documentation.
  • •Assist with entry-level environmental science work related to ecological systems, air, and water resources, including site characteristic verification.
  • •Prepare technical documentation and analytical/monthly progress reports while supporting multiple projects on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Natural Resources Management, Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or a related science field.
  • •0-1 year experience in Environmental data.
  • •Experience using ESRI ArcGIS Pro (ArcMap, ArcCatalog).
  • •Basic familiarity with database development and management (MS Access and/or EQuIS).
  • •Basic familiarity with programming languages (for example Python, R, or Visual Basic) and strong communication and organizational skills.
