Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect facility operations to confirm safe job practices, proper protective equipment use, and operational machine/process guards.
  • •Investigate accidents and near-miss occurrences to identify trends and causes and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • •Develop and support facility safety programs and incentives with management.
  • •Conduct new hire training and provide employee training on safe and appropriate machinery/equipment operation.
  • •Maintain safety records and compliance, including OSHA 300 logs and required reports, and coordinate forklift training and regulatory fire inspection tours.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school graduate.
  • •Zero to two years of experience in safety or woodworking operations.
  • •Working knowledge of computer and business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • •Preferred experience in First Aid and CPR.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
