Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the lead analyst in the provision of fundamental research through the maintenance and development of multiple excel-based models
  • •Support the Energy Research team with its goal of servicing institutional investors with sufficient intensity to drive vote capture
  • •Contribute written work to the European Oil & Gas team’s thematic and stock-specific research
  • •Assist the team in meeting client marketing and corporate access requirements
  • •Support colleagues in adjacent fields, such as Investment Banking and Corporate Broking

Key Requirements

  • •A suitable record of academic achievement and experience in a transferable role. Industry technical and/or commercial energy valuation experience would be advantageous
  • •Sector experience is not a prerequisite, but an interest in the energy sector is integral
  • •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • •Knowledge of the financial markets, solid understanding of financial statements and advanced financial modeling capability
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
